35. Life of Pi

*Life of Pi by Yann Martel

I'm so glad to have found this book and to have the opportunity to translate it. I felt a strong chemistry with this book it from the start, and it will remain one of the best-loved books in my list. I enjoyed every minute of the translation process, during which the author had been a great help as well. The rich description of the animal world was what drew me to this book in the first place. Animals interest me, but then the story itself is the work of a genius.
