My first Stephen King book was Carrie. I happened to walk past the shelf where the Indonesian translation was displayed in the book store. The cover illustration both terrified and intrigued me. It was the picture of a girl with long hair and a bloody face. I expected a horror story that would give me nightmares, but instead i felt sorry for Carrie. Anyway, i became a fan of Mr. King eversince.

Ada bensin di tangkinya, businya pun berfungsi, dan akinya bagus, tapi mesin penghasil kata itu sudah berhenti bekerja di bagian dalam kepalaku. Aku telah menutupinya dengan terpal.
